Stylianos Zantanidis
Stilianos Zantanidis is an Air Traffic Controller (Approach and Aerodrome Control), Head of ATC Department and Acting Director of the International Civil Airport of Alexandroupolis “Democritus”. He holds Doctorate on Total Quality Management (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), MBA (University of Macedonia) and MSc in Occupational Health and Safety (School of Medicine, Democritus University of Thrace). He holds certificate of Lead Auditor in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and he is member of the central committee of Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA) for the implementation of QMS in Air Navigation Services. He is lead Internal Quality Auditor in General Directorate of Air Navigation Services Provider and technical consultant of the same GD for the implementation of QMS. He is on-the-job trainer, assessor and examiner of Air Traffic Controllers. He is professor in Hellenic Civil Aviation School (SPOA) and in the Learning Institute of the National Centre for Public Administration (INEP-EKDDA). He has published more than 20 papers on quality and production management. He is the author of more than 30 operations manuals of HCAA. He has more than 1.000 hours teaching experience in ATC, QMS and SMS.
