Sotiris Danezis is a journalist and founder of Danezis Stories, a boutique
communications agency in Athens that provides strategic counsel and content
solutions to a wide range of public and private organisations across multiple
platforms. With a career spanning several roles – including foreign affairs
commentator, war correspondent and documentary filmmaker – Sotiris has
developed a deep understanding of the media landscape and how narratives shape
the world.
His work as a journalist has taken him to over 80 countries, often in regions affected
by conflict, political instability and humanitarian crises.
Sotiris' documentaries, which reflect his commitment to exploring complex issues,
have been screened at festivals such as the Thessaloniki International Documentary
Festival. In addition to his journalistic work, Sotiris is also a photographer and his
work has been exhibited in prestigious venues such as the Museum of Cycladic Art
and the Thessaloniki Museum of Photography.
