Antonios Gravanis
Antonis Gravanis was born in Komotini on the 23th of September in 1981.
He is the founder and partner of “AdStrategy” company which operates in Strategic
Development of SMEs and European Funding Programs for Businesses and Public
Organizations.
He has graduated from the Law School of Democritus University of Thrace and from the
Department of Language, Literature and Civilization of the Black Sea Countries.
He is the President of the Chamber of Tradesmen and Small and Medium Sized Industries of Rhodope and Coordinator of the Committee of Hellenic Union of Chambers, which deals
with financial and funding tools for businesses and with Greek Development Law.
In 2019 he was a candidate for Mayor of Komotini’s municipality.
Since 2008, he is a Municipal Councilor of Komotini and has served as Deputy Mayor of
Finance, President of the Municipal Development Company of Komotini, President of the
Development Corporation K. Karatheodoris and Vice President of the Economic Commission.
He has served on the Board of Directors of the Regional Association of Municipalities of East Macedonia and Thrace and he was a representative to the General Assembly of Central Union of Municipalities of Greece.
He is also a member of the Entrepreneurship Committee and Digital Governance Committee of Central Union of Municipalities of Greece.
Additionally, has was the Coordinator at Youth Entrepreneurship Window of the General
Secretariat of the New Generation in Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Region and the first
Chairman of the Local Youth Council of the Municipality of Komotini.
In 2013 he was elected to the Political Committee of New Democracy and has been
Chairman of New Democracy party's youth division (ONNED), and a member of the Central Committee of ONNED.
