Ioannis Sideris currently holds the position of the Chief Sustainability Officer at Thrace
Group. He has significant experience and active involvement in the fields of sustainable
development, climate change, and circular economy since he has served as the CEO of
the Hellenic Recycling Agency (EOAN) and the Deputy Mayor of the Environment in the
Municipality of Agia Paraskevi. Additionally, he worked as an IT Consultant at the
multinational corporation PwC. Throughout his career, he undertook various
responsibilities, including serving as the President of the Expert Committee of the
General Secretariat of Commerce, a member of the Board of Directors of the Public
Real Estate Company and the Association of Sustainable Urban Development. He has
also contributed as a researcher at the ELTRUN research center and has extensive
experience in the publishing sector. He is a graduate of the Athens University of
Economics and Business with a specialization in Business Administration and holds a
master's degree in Information Systems Development from the London School of
Economics.
