Grigorios Tsioukas, Frontex Deputy Fundamental Rights Officer
Grigorios Tsioukas is a PhD lawyer, specialising on migration law. He joined Frontex in July 2021 as a Monitor and appointed Deputy Fundamental Rights Officer as of 1 March 2022. Grigorios Tsioukas has a long experience as senior investigator for the Greek Ombudsman. In the past he has also been advisor at the Greek Ministry of the Interior on border management, migration and citizenship issues. Before joining Frontex he worked for 4 years at the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights in Vienna.
