I was born in 1966 and grew up in Kavili, in the Evros Region. I am married to Stamatia Paschalidou, a primary school teacher and principal, with whom I have two sons. I graduated from the ASETEM/SELETE with a degree in Civil Engineering and have been working as a teacher at the EPAL Orestiada since 1992. I served as president of the Hellenic Association of Secondary Education Teachers (ELTE), an elected member, and vice president of the B’ ELME Evros. I am actively involved in the local community. I was elected as a Regional Councillor in 2014, 2019, and 2023. I served as Regional Vice Governor for Infrastructure and Environment from 2016 to 2018, Regional Vice Governor for Public Health from 2019 to 2021, and since January 1, 2024, I have been serving as Regional Vice Governor for Civil Protection, Climate Change Impacts, Infrastructure, and Projects.
