Diamandis Papadopoulos was born in Orestiada in 1970. He graduated from the National Technical University of Metsovo in the Department of Mechanical Engineering in 1994. He holds a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in ‘Environmental Policy and Integrated Rural Development’ (IPRD) with thesis topic ‘Renewable Energy Sources – Biofuels’ in 2010. He ‘s been working on energy conservation through renewable energy . He has been a teacher at OAED schools and an adult educator. In 2019 he was elected Municipal Councillor of Orestiada.
