Gwendaline Jossec, Australian and French, is a Senior Economist and Policy Analyst at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), working on regional development issues. She has been coordinating a series of 11 regional attractiveness case studies across Europe – including in Greece for Eastern Macedonia-Thrace and the Peloponnese – as part of a major policy project funded by the European Commission’s DG REGIO, ‘Rethinking Regional Attractiveness towards Green and Inclusive Globalisation’. Before her current posting at the OECD, she served in a number of roles in the Australian federal government, most recently in the Productivity Commission, the COVID-19 Economic Recovery Taskforce at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, and the Department of Industry.
